The Censer #10 - The Long Terminus of Brother Gendel

"The Long Terminus of Brother Gendel" is not so long, but it's long enough for Khaibon, Lissegam, and Heeqadaf to discuss adult limbs, deathblows to the head, and the immortality of the soul as they hold a vigil over their dying old brother.

The Censer #9 - A Dialog on Tzaebutz

"A Dialog on Tzaebutz" is held between Gendel, the ancient limner, and Gomad, the insufferable winemaker, and it concerns the cleanliness of limns, the secret of God's book, and the responsibilities of Tell Bathud. This dialog comes to a tense head when something wholly predictable, yet still shocking occurs.

The Censer #8 - The Sacred Numerology

"The Sacred Numerology" concerns the number values assigned to the letters used in Chosyebeyen, and the number theory that claims to glean the absolute value of a word's letters. The Peybo seeks to speak with Brother Fesye about this topic, but the conversation shifts towards both of their anxieties about the fate of Chosyebeyen.

The Censer #7 - The Peybo's Dream

"The Peybo's Dream", as told by the Peybo Dulioch himself, opens to an unknown country of a simple, isolated people and a visitor to their settlement. He tells this to the very young Heeqadaf and the less young Tohbech, who listen raptly until the end. At the close, Heeqadaf reveals something very unusual.

The Censer #6 - Gomad's Sermon and the Tower

"Gomad's Sermon" brings us a few years into the future, where Heeqadaf has begun his life in Tell Bathud in earnest, being reared by Khaibon. He is charged with helping Tohbech, who is the second-youngest brother in the tell, as he conveys grapes from the vineyard to the mash room, where they are treated to a sermon by the strange winemaker Brother Gomad. In "The Tower", they are waylaid by the Peybo on their way back to the vineyard, who chastises Tohbech and compels him to tell the story of Sejah, the one who could read into prophetic dreams.

The Censer #5 - The Dying Child and the Nameless Newborn

"The Dying Child" visits the home of Besqah and Lebbn, who have just taken in the baby Heeqadaf, and set him next to their year-old daughter. The baby girl takes a shine to Heeqadaf and finds a friend in the newborn, but it is soon disclosed that she is dying of a strange illness of the joints. However, their friendship is further sealed by yet another miracle of Heeqadaf. "The Nameless Newborn" then sees the birth of Besqah's eighth child, and also offers us a glimpse into the life surrounding the base of Tell Bathud.

The Censer #4 - Besqah

"Besqah" is the wife of Lebbn, the grocer who feeds the brothers of Tell Bathud gratis, and she is also the only woman who visits the Tell regularly. Brother Khaibon has just learned of her, and so he desperately seeks her out, for he has been told that she is pregnant and thus able to feed the foundling Heeqadaf.

The Censer #3 - Brother Khaibon, the Caregiver

This episode of the podcast, which is more of a self-made audiobook in parts, marks the sixth chapter of series. "Brother Khaibon, the Caregiver" describes the baby Heeqadaf's rescue by the eponymous Chosye monk, who places the foundling in Tell Bathud's vast kitchens to keep him warm. Unfortunately, Khaibon has no clue how to care for an infant, so he must rely on the insufferable remonstrations of the eminent Brother Fesye to keep this very special baby alive. Fesye goes on to tell some ancient tales in regard to child-rearing before landing on a very salient point, that being a daily visitor to Tell Bathud who might be able to feed the boy.

The Censer #2 - The Annunciation to Uiyam

This episode of the podcast, which is more of a self-made audiobook in parts, marks the third, fourth, and fifth chapters of the story, "The Annunciation to Uiyam", "The Birth of Heeqadaf", and "The Flight to Tell Bathud". "The Annunciation to Uiyam" tells of Supreme Artist Drramtur's visit to the nobleman Uiyam, and the unsullied conception that it brought to her. "The Birth of Heeqadaf" then tells of her long labor, and Yichen's suspicion of her infidelity. "The Flight to Tell Bathud" finishes the installment with her desperate escape from Ckotol's forces, and Heeqadaf's custody to the devout Chosye in the local abbey.

The Censer #1 - Cosmogony and the Insense Burner

This episode of the podcast, which is more of a self-made audiobook in parts, marks the first two chapters of the story, "Cosmogony" and "The Incense Burner". "Cosmogony" describes the creation of the world by Yos, and how the avatars Baita, Drramtur, and all his wives helped him shape this world and its human inhabitants. "The Incense Burner" introduces the city of Chosyebeyen, its history of religious persecution towards the Durramkuts, and its conquest by the warlord Ckotol Beskig.
